Conference on the Development of Telecommunications and Digitalization in the Arctic (on the sidelines of SPIEF 2022)

The Conference on the Development of Telecommunications and Digitalization in the Arctic was held on 15 June at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as part of the main events of Russia’s chairmanship in the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which are being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

The Conference addressed different issues such as the creation and implementation of a unified digital services platform in the waters of the Northern Sea Route, telecommunication technologies in extreme climatic conditions, and the use of the public-private partnership model to implement projects. Representatives of key departments and leaders from certain regions of Russia’s Arctic zone spoke at the Conference.
