Investment Portal of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
The 22nd Polar Games Spartakiad of the Peoples of Northern Russia took place on 26 October – 4 November in Vorkuta as part of the plan for the main events of Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
The competition programme featured 15 sports, including basketball and 3×3 basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, kyokushin, futsal, swimming, shooting, wrestling, WTF taekwondo and ITF taekwondo, rhythmic gymnastics, hockey, and chess.
About 1,200 athletes took part in the competitions. The winners are the teams from Vorkuta, Ukhta, Syktyvkar.
